Be Global was founded in 2011 and during the company’s 7 years of business operation, we have successfully placed few hundred students on various programs. Be Global study abroad agency is located in Almaty, with a strong network of subagents in multiple cities in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Our company specializes in connecting students from Central Asia (mainly from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) to study abroad opportunities at language schools, primary schools and higher education institutions.
Nowadays, Be Global officially represents over 200 different schools and universities from the UK, USA, Europe, UAE, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Being mainly focused on degree academic programs, Be Global also has developed strong partnership network with local schools and education institutions, embassies and government organizations. Thus, among others, Be Global is the official representative of the U.S. News Global Education in Kazakhstan supported by the U.S. News and World Report magazine and the agency is approved by British Council.

Meet Our Team
Akmaral Sapanova - Academic Director
Akmaral is an international education expert successfully working with students, parents and companies over the last 6 years.
Akmaral is a specialist in secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate education. Akmaral was part of many projects designing customized courses and internships in areas including engineering, education management, farming and agriculture, law and IT. Those customized programs were used as a professional development for specialists and helped to obtain internationally recognized certifications. Akmaral also implemented many projects during her work as Director of the Department for Education Organization at Center for International Programs (CIP), the official administrator of “Bolashak” international scholarship.
Prior to working in international education Akmaral worked in various industries including tourism and hospitality, technology for FMCG, education and event management and was part of numerous business transformation projects.
Akmaral is certified specialist of education in UK and completed all levels on British council training for agents (British Council agent certificate), North America higher education specialist (certified and trained by US commercial services, US global education, Navitas, Study Group, and CEG) and has a strong knowledge and experience in working with education providers in Turkey, UAE and several European countries.
Akmaral has a bachelor’s degree in Teaching from East Kazakhstan State University and Master’s degree in International Business with Hospitality from Caesar Ritz College in Switzerland. Akmaral is constantly expanding her knowledge by participating in various trainings and professional development courses in Kazakhstan and abroad. She is alumni of the “Bolashak” program.
Aigerim Zakiyeva – Director
Aigerim is an expert with over 4 years of experience in education abroad consultancy as well as 3 years in International Division of the largest commercial bank in Kazakhstan, Kazkommertsbank, as a manager responsible for developing international partner partnerships.
During her work at Be Global she actively participated in foundation of Be Global Study Abroad in 2011 as a Senior Consultant in Almaty and helped to establish and maintain partner relationships with top universities around the world. In the past she has provided a full professional support to number of Kazakhstani students wishing to study abroad. In her current position Aigerim is responsible for a wide range of activities including sales, customer support and overall business operation.
Aigerim has a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business from Kazakh Economic University named after Turar Ryskulov and Master Degree in Finance and Management at the University of Exeter (UK).
Meruyert Aitbekova – Education Consultant
Meruyert is an education consultant at Be Global study abroad agency.
She specializes in academic and language programs as GCSE (school education in United Kingdom), foundation, undergraduate and graduate degrees, language courses.
Meruyert graduated from Kazakh-American Free University in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk with the specialty in Foreign languages (English and Spanish). As a student she visited the United States of America on the international cultural exchange program "Work and Travel". This program let her to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of this country, to acquire the skills of international communication and travel across the United States. In addition, Meruyert had the opportunity to study in Germany under the program of academic mobility. During this time, she got academic knowledge, learnt about the foreign education system and visited such places as Berlin, Munich, Prague, Salzburg and Copenhagen.
Prior to joining Be Global team she worked as a manager in the Department for Education Organization at Center for International programs JSC, the official administrator of presidential scholarship “Bolashak”, Astana. During her work there she advised scholarship holders on the issues of studying abroad and helped to choose the appropriate language courses and master's programs at universities of Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain and Ireland.
Olessya Trofimova – Education Consultant
Olessya is focused on working with clients and students interested in academic programs such as university preparation, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.
Her role has a range of diverse responsibilities from an initial consultation up to pre-departure orientation. Olessya supports students throughout the entire process of enrolling to a school/university abroad.
Before joining Be Global she worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at the University of International Business based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In her role she was responsible for operating a full range of quality processes, contributed towards designing safeguard academic standards and improving the quality of the student and staff experience. Other responsibilities included working with an international quality accreditation (such as FIBAA, AQA) and being an Academic Assistant during the Regional Trade Policy Courses, maintained through the collaboration of the World Trade Organization and the University of International Business. Additionally, Olessya taught English as a Second Language, putting into practice a constant cooperation with students.
In addition to her experience in Kazakhstan, Olessya lived and studied in Poland at the Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu – National-Louis University, holding a double-diploma program. Olessya has a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Master's degree in Management from the University of International Business.
Assem Sapanova – Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Be Global
Assem is an international education expert with over 7 years of experience working with families and businesses to achieve their international education goals.
She co-founded Be Global Study Abroad in 2011 as the managing director in Almaty and formed more than 200 agreements with top universities in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Dubai and Australia to be the official representative in Kazakhstan.
During her time in the international education industry she has personally worked with over 500 students to help select schools and universities and supported them through the entire process. She has experience in working with families and businesses as well as working with private and government sponsors. Assem has lived, worked and studied in the US and Dubai in addition to her experience in Kazakhstan. During her time in the US she worked in Human Resources and specialized in Talent Acquisition.
She holds a B.A. in teaching from East Kazakhstan State University and a Master degree in International Business from Hult Business School.
